4th of July Celebration at Superstition Shadows Park

Join the City of Apache Junction Parks & Recreation for our upcoming annual Fourth of July Celebration! All festivities take place on Friday, July 4th, 2025!

We will be kicking off events at the 4th of July Volleyball Tournament held at Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center. Registration for the free tournament begins at 7:15am. Space is limited to the first 8 teams (up to 10 players per team) to register. The tournament begins at 8am. Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center will be open for swimming from 9am-3pm on the 4th of July, with FREE admission, sponsored by Aaron McDermid State Farm!
The evening portion of the event will be at Superstition Shadows Park, located at 1091 W. Southern Ave. The gates will open at 6:00pm. Event activities include vendor booths, field and water games, inflatables, free watermelon sponsored by Apache Junction Little League, and more! Local band Zero Reasons will be providing live music from 6:30-8:30pm and we will kick off the Fireworks Extravaganza at 8:30pm, weather permitting! This is a free event and open to the public, with food and beverage available for purchase from local vendors. Parking is limited, so please come early!
