4th of July Celebration

Join the City of AJ Parks & Recreation for our annual Fourth of July Celebration. . We will be kicking off events at the 4th of July Volleyball Tournament held at Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center. Evening events are located at the Apache Junction High School Track and Field. The fireworks show is presented by Republic Services. The gates will open at 6 pm. Game booths, hosted by local Non-Profit Organizations and activities for kids will take place at the field starting at 6pm. Some of the activities include: Inflatable/Water games, bean bag toss, prize ponds, a dunk tank, a Bicycle, Wagon & Tricycle Float Contest (judging at 6:30 pm), and live entertainment. Free Watermelon will be available starting at 6:00 pm until it is gone. Outside the Line will perform from 6:30-8:30pm and will kick off the Fireworks Extravaganza at 8:30pm. This is a free event, open to the public (a small fee for food and game booths will apply). Parking is limited, so please come early.
