Step into the future with our AI Powered Robotics Lab, an exciting hands on experience where students explore the fascinating world of artificial intelligence through robotics. Participants will learn how intelligent machines work by using advanced tools like the VEX IQ AI Vision Sensor to train their robots to see, recognize, and respond to objects in real time.
Throughout the program, students will design, build, and program their own robots while developing problem solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. They will also be introduced to powerful AI language models like Gemini, using them as coding assistants to help generate ideas, debug programs, and improve their block based code. This unique combination of robotics and AI gives students a glimpse into how modern technology is shaping the world around them.
As the experience progresses, challenges become more exciting and complex, encouraging students to test their creativity and push their designs further. The program concludes with an AI Grand Challenge, where students apply everything they have learned to build and program a robot capable of solving a custom designed real world problem.
