BEST School's out camp

• WHAT DOES MY CHILD(REN) WEAR TO CAMP?
A t-shirt, shorts, & closed-toed shoes for safety. No flip-flops or Crocs! Parents will be called to swap this out and children will not be able to participate until safe shoes are being worn. Jewelry especially earrings should be taken out before camp (if possible).
If your child is entering 2nd grade or younger: Please provide us with a large Ziploc baggie or Backpack (with their full name on it) of extra shirt, shorts, underwear, socks, AND shoes just in case of any accidents. Please remember that they must be FULLY BATHROOM INDEPENDENT & able to knowow they need to, know how to and be able to (without ANY help) use the bathroom without ANY assistance. Pull-ups are NOT permitted. In the event a child has an accident & extra clothes are not supplied as requested, B.E.S.T. will supply a new shirt, shorts, & socks for a fee of $25 which will be charged immediately to the credit card on file. (Excessive clean-up charges: On the very rare occasion that a child distributes any bodily fluids in any alternate location other than the toilet and the clean-up is deemed excessive, there will be an additional clean-up fee assessed.)
• WHAT IS MY CHILD(REN) EATING AT CAMP?
Snacks (included): B.E.S.T. will serve either a fresh fruit or a starch morning/afternoon snack (such as freshly popped popcorn, animal crackers, or goldfish) daily. This has been cleared as a nut free snack by all who have been concerned. Occasionally we have ice cream and for those with dairy allergies we provide ices.
We encourage you to pack one snack for half day campers and 2 snacks for full day campers if your children are picky.
Lunch (now available for full-day campers & half-day morning campers): Typical lunch will include sandwich, chips, cookie, pickle slice. Hot-dogs, PB & J, Turkey and Cheese, Chicken nuggets & pizza are served. (We are working to increase the offerings to include hamburgers and other fun kid friendly meals) The day each is served can vary. Only 1 option per day is served.
Please pack a lunch if your child has any food allergies or a picky eater.
• WHO IS WATCHING MY CHILD(REN) AT CAMP?
Our amazing male & female Coaches are CPR & First Aid Certified. They are also background checked and Fingerprint Clearance as well as professionally trained by B.E.S.T. Many of our Coaches are educators, PE teachers, and avid athletes as well as parents themselves. You can feel confident dropping your children off in a FUN, active, clean, and SAFE environment!
• HEALTH SAFETY GUIDELINES:
B.E.S.T. will have separate health and safety protocols in place as we have had in 2020 Summer Camps based on recommended Local and National provided guidelines. We may institute the following, Temperature checks upon entry and throughout the day, Disinfection shoes pads prior to entry, consistent disinfecting throughout the day or ALL surfaces and equipment and of course 5-7 x's a day washing of hands. We will add steps as required to maintain safety for all participants.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Get ready for some FUN! We will be LEARNING & PLAYING the following sports all week: soccer, softball, basketball, football, volleyball, dodge ball, 40′ ROCK WALL!, Golf, tennis, kickball, track & field and badminton! There’s more! Relay races, capture the flag, newcomb, scooter hockey, scooter soccer, frisbee, 4-square, 2-square, bump out, sprout ball and many more playground games & activities! Don’t forget our bounce houses, obstacle courses, scrimmaging and a Multi-purpose Room full of games and activities like Foosball & air-hockey! Wow!
- Clean, safe & air-conditioned, brand-new 6,000 sq ft Sport Center! Our facility is closed to the public and security-monitored 24 hours a day.
- All sports equipment will be supplied and cleaned throughout the day.
- Yes, your child will be grouped with children their same age for safety reasons and also for the best learning experience. Each age group has it’s own specially-designed curriculum based on the ages of the children.
- Yes, your children will be running, jumping, playing and laughing all day and they WILL be tired at pick-up time! At B.E.S.T. your child is not just a number in hoards of children. Each is a special individual, we learn their names, their likes and dislikes, what they excel at and teach them accordingly. If, for any reason, you have any specific questions, we are always here to talk to you. We want to make your child’s camp experience the BEST one ever!
- Just Pack a LARGE water bottle and your players will be all set.

PRICING

Spots are not guaranteed as we do sell out. ** AM & PM 1/2 Day Camps AND full-day camps have been REDUCED! See Listings below** Lastly – please understand we do NOT refund. Should the State shut down it is a 100% B.E.S.T. credit. If we cancel it is a 100% refund to credit card. If you cancel processing fee is $25 – class, $75 – camp per kid with the remainder refunded to your credit card or you can choose a 100% credit on your B.E.S.T. account.
Before & After-Care
- Before-care/After-Care is $10 per hour per child
- Before-care is available from 7-9am & 4-6pm
** Before & After Care must be booked through the BEST Office at least 24 hours in advance: 623-748-9453. You may call within that 24-hour window to see if it is already scheduled and see if we can add your child.

PICK-UP
Due to our new pick up and drop of procedures this will be a very flexible policy but please be in the car line-up for pick-up no later than 4pm. For pick-up, if no one is outside please ring doorbell on tent and someone will be out to greet you. Drop -off time for the first day is 8:30 and the other days it is 8:45.
FOOD & SNACKS

A catered Lunch is included if you are a half-day AM or full-day camper: We are unable to accommodate alternative or substitute lunches for the reasons of allergies or personal preference.

**Tuesdays: Hot dogs/bun, chips, pickle & cookie
**Wednesdays: Turkey and American cheese sandwich, chips, pickle & cookie
**Thursdays: Chicken nuggets, chips, pickle & cookie

SICK CHILDREN
In order for us to keep our children healthy we insist that you keep sick children home! Due to recent events, temperatures will be taken upon arrival. If your child cannot make a certain day due to illness, please notify us by the start of the camp day and we will put a credit of one camp day on your BEST Account to be used for a future Camp. Let’s keep our kids & Coaches healthy – that keeps us all happy!
BATHROOM INDEPENDENCE REQUIRED
YOUR CHILD MUST BE BATHROOM INDEPENDENT to attend camp. What does this mean? This means that they must be able to go to the bathroom (get on and off the toilet) on their own, flush and wash hands by themselves. We will not enter into the bathroom facilities with your child, and should they have an accident they will have to change themselves. Should they not be able to change themselves, their parent will be called to come and assist. Pull-ups are not permitted. Should a change of clothes be required we will supply a new t-shirt, new sweats/shorts and new socks for $25. This is non-negotiable should you not pack a change of clothes. *Please know that for our littlest campers, we remind them every hour to use the bathroom.
NEW! DROP-OFF & PICK-UP PROCEDURES
We now offer a safe and convenient car-to-door “Camper Drop-off/Pick-up Line”! Simply pull up to our BEST Tent and stay in your nice, cool car. Our Coach checks your child in from your car while a dedicated Coach comes to get your child and walks them just a few steps into our Camp door! At pick-up time we bring your child directly to you after checking ID! More information to come in your “Welcome e-mail”, upon registration. (Due to Covid-19, please call for a time slot if you must walk your child in to camp.)
