*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 07/15/2022
Explore architecture, science, engineering, art, and photography at Camp Taliesin West!
Located at Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Arizona home, Camp Taliesin West encourages participants to explore, create, and design as they engage in fun and educational activities. Campers will learn from our unique, historic property and the principles of Wright, applying them to their own projects and adventures.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Campers will explore the fundamental principles of interior design such as color, texture, pattern, balance, and proportion. We examine color theory and how colors interact with each other to create different moods, feelings, and experiences. As a final project, we will create vision boards and 3D models of our individually designed rooms.
