The architecture of Taliesin West is the backdrop for a weeklong photographic journey. Renowned photographer, Andrew Pielage, will guide us in capturing our unique, World Heritage site, and the Sonoran Desert around them. We will learn and explore the tools needed to best utilize a DSLR camera including aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. We will then apply these creative approaches to composition, image framing, and the challenges of light and shadow.
Students must provide their own digital SLR camera and corresponding USB cable. It is highly encouraged that students provide their own laptop for editing photographs.
