Children’s Day 2025 at the Japanese Friendship Garden

Join us for a joyful celebration of family at the Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix’s annual Children’s Day! One of Japan’s most cherished holidays, Children’s Day is celebrated with colorful carp streamers, playful origami, and traditional festivities. This year, we honor the Year of the Snake in the Lunar Year calendar, symbolizing wisdom, transformation, and resilience. Just as the snake sheds its skin to grow, we celebrate the growth and limitless potential of children, offering a culturally rich and fun-filled experience for all ages.
