CitySkate Grand Opening & Tree Lighting Ceremony

Let the holiday festivities begin! CitySkate, presented by Arizona Public Service - APS, will officially open for the 2017-2018 season with a spectacular, family-friendly event featuring performances by Phoenix’s top performing arts organizations including the The Phoenix Symphony, Arizona Opera, Ahwatukee Foothills Nutcracker Ballet, Herberger Theater Center and the All Puppet Players. Characters from favorite children’s movies such as Frozen will be making their rounds throughout the day. The Phoenix Art Museum will open the doors to its holiday pop-up shop, complete with installations and performances. Additionally, guests can expect a light show, an appearance by Santa Claus and the Mrs’s, and the official tree lighting ceremony hosted by Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton. Stay tuned...
