GIVE YOUR CHILD A FALL BREAK TO ADVENTURE, DISCOVER, AND THRIVE
Fall Adventure Camp gives kids and teens five exciting days to make friends, connect with animals, explore the outdoors, try new things, and discover how capable they can be.
At EmpoweRanch, campers learn, grow, and thrive through a distinctive combination of therapeutic recreation, horsemanship, environmental education, ranch life, creativity, and service. Each day brings opportunities to connect with horses and other ranch animals, help with animal care, get their hands in the garden, investigate the natural world, practice outdoor skills, play active games, complete creative projects, take on team challenges, and contribute around the ranch.
FUN WITH A PURPOSE
Fun drives the week, while each activity helps campers develop confidence, responsibility, communication, teamwork, resilience, empathy, character, and practical skills. Campers are encouraged to try new challenges, contribute their strengths, build friendships, and experience the pride that comes from learning something new.
HORSEMANSHIP FROM THE GROUND UP
Campers learn horse safety, behavior, communication, care, and handling through guided activities with the EmpoweRanch herd. Mounted horsemanship experiences are planned after campers complete foundational safety and unmounted instruction.
TEEN LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TRACK
Teens ages 13 through 17 may participate in our Teen Leadership Development Track, with added opportunities to practice leadership, initiative, communication, teamwork, responsibility, and service.
SUPPORT FOR DIFFERENT STRENGTHS AND GOALS
Campers come to us with different interests, abilities, learning styles, social goals, and levels of experience. Our team provides guidance, encouragement, and opportunities for each camper to participate, contribute, and stretch outside their comfort zone. Families can share any accessibility or support needs during registration so our team can plan for safe and successful participation in the group camp setting.
EXPERIENCED PROGRAM LEADERSHIP
Fall Adventure Camp is designed and led by Jessica Voss, CTRS, CPRP, CTRI, an NCTRC Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, Certified Parks and Recreation Professional, PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor, and AAEE Certified Environmental Educator.
All EmpoweRanch program staff are background checked, hold an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, and maintain current Adult and Child First Aid and CPR certification.
CAMP DETAILS
Dates: Monday, October 5 through Friday, October 9, 2026
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Ages: 6 through 17 (kiddos age 5 are welcome with their older sibling!)
Location: EmpoweRanch in south Phoenix near Dobbins Road and Central Avenue
