Family Friday: Corn is a-maize-ing!

Corn has been raised by indigenous people of the Southwest for more than 4,000 years. This interesting and tasty plant was and still is an important food source, which is celebrated in ceremonies and depicted in art.

On the first and third Friday of the month, Mari Soliday presents a short education program for kids on the MNA Facebook page, including an activity to try at home. If you watch it live, you can ask questions in the comments. Past programs can be found in the video section of the MNA Facebook page under the playlist Family Fridays and STEAM Saturdays.
