*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 11/06/2020
Drawing or carving on rocks is one of the oldest art forms. Learn about how petroglyphs and pictographs were made, some of the meanings and cultural implications, as well as where you can go to see rock art and how to help preserve it for the future.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

On the first and third Friday of the month, Mari Soliday presents a short education program for kids on the MNA Facebook page, including an activity to try at home. If you watch it live, you can ask questions in the comments. Past programs can be found in the video section of the MNA Facebook page under the playlist Family Fridays and STEAM Saturdays.
