KJZZ-FM Announces Arizona StoryFest and Authors Showcase
Family Friendly Event held June 1st in Mesa
Tempe, AZ … Book lovers, aspiring writers, and families are urged to enjoy the KJZZ Arizona StoryFest & Authors Showcase at Mesa Convention Center on June 1. Storytelling is sweeping the nation and the Valley is home to some of the finest. On the Storyteller Main Stage, KJZZ and partners, Arizona Storytellers Project and the South Mountain Community College Storytelling Institute will host an entertaining lineup of witty and engaging storytellers.
While there is no fee for entry to the event, tickets for The Storyteller Main Stage are $10.00 with proceeds benefiting Sun Sounds of Arizona. All those who pre-purchase a Storyteller Main Stage ticket will be entered in a drawing; details below. Tickets can be purchased at www.storyfest.org
Families can experience an interactive Children’s Stage hosted by Studio 8’s Rally Crew which includes stories, crafts, games, and special character appearances.
At the Authors Showcase & Workshops meet Arizona’s talented writers and purchase their books on the spot. Aspiring writers will delight in Authors Workshops as they strive to make their ideas become reality. Thanks to ASU’s Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing for their partnership.
