Join Girls in Tech PHX + City of Goodyear for a 3-day hackathon event for high school students and adults! Come together to pitch an idea and launch a business, all in one weekend! It's a great opportunity to test startup ideas, meet potential co-founders, build your community in Goodyear and learn from mentors in tech.
APPROXIMATE EVENT TIMES
Thursday, May 2nd from 4pm-9pm
Friday, May 3rd from 4pm-9pm
Saturday, May 4th from 9am-7pm
Registration covers all meals, snacks, beverages and swag. Please note that registered attendees will be asked to commit to full participation on all 3 days.
Participants will be given the opportunity to pitch a new idea on opening night ceremonies Thursday, May 2nd. The best ideas will be selected from the attendees and teams formed that same evening. Be ready to bring your own ideas or to join a team!
Teams will "hack" in the evening Friday, May 3rd and in the morning Saturday, May 4th. In the afternoon on May 4th, the final pitches will be conducted before a panel of judges and the winners will be selected. Exciting prizes await the winning teams!
