Is your child a passionate animal lover but not quite old enough to volunteer? Reading Fur Fun is a special reading program that gives children the opportunity to improve their reading skills by enriching the lives of shelter pets! Children ages 7-12 can sign up to read to our dog friends at our Nina Mason Pulliam South Mountain Campus for just $10. This helps students practice reading and teaches important socialization skills to our dogs awaiting adoption.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Kids can be accompanied by one adult guardian each. Adult presence is not required and kids can be picked up following the program. No additional guests will be permitted.
