Snow Week

Snow Week is back this December at Arizona Science Center for seven days of science wonder. Over 60 tons of snow will blanket Heritage and Science Park's grassy hill in white. The Center will have demos including special 'explosive' demonstrations and Quantum Levitation and kid-friendly activities throughout the week. Guests can explore and discover if there’s life on other planets in Alien Worlds and Androids. Guests will also see life size replicas of Iron Man, C-3PO and R2D2 from Star Wars movies, and a replica T-800 bust from The Terminator in this popular traveling exhibition. Arizona Science Center’s community makerspace called CREATE® will offer daily activities. From playing with CREATE’s Snow Village and building paper rockets and launching them in the park to making toys and other items, CREATE has something for all ages. And don’t miss our New Year’s Eve Celebration as we ring in the New Year with a fashion show and balloon drop at 2 p.m.! Guests will have an out of this world New Year’s eve as we play with spheros in Alien Worlds and Androids, and explode ping pong balls. Adults and kids can take part of the Recycled Gift Wrapping Runway Show. This is a great time of the year to visit Arizona Science Center with family and friends for some winter fun.
