Summer Music + Arts Camp is an opportunity for kids to explore the world of fine arts and creativity at Saint Barnabas in Scottsdale where all are welcome. Gently faith-based, this one-week day camp is filled with fun and engaging activities focusing on the fine arts and the creative process. Through our 2017 theme, “Abundant Life,” campers give thanks for creation and learn about the field work happening to protect the Earth and provide for people everywhere. Camp is filled with fun and engaging activities focusing on fine arts and the creative process. We also have lots of opportunities for silliness like our theme dress days. Ensemble groups include choir, drama, dance, chimes, and set design along with fun and creative workshops. On the last day of camp, participants gather together with friends and family to enjoy lunch and share their work at our Music + Arts gallery and production!

CAMP HOURS

Camp sessions are scheduled June 19-23 with activities from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Lunch and snacks are included. Camper drop-off is between 8:30 and 9:00am and pick-up is by 1:00pm each day (or by 5:00pm with Sportball extended hours).

SPORTBALL FULL-DAY CAMP HOURS

An optional extended day program is available with an additional fee for those campers who wish to remain at camp past 1:00pm. Supervision and sports activities are provided from 1-5:00pm by Sportball. The additional cost is $99 per child for the Sportball extended day program.

Regular Registration: $150
Sibling Discount: $25 off!
Extended Day Sportball Option: +$99

Registration fee includes lunch and snacks each day of camp, camp t-shirt, and costs of materials and instruction. Partial scholarships available based on need. Please contact sarahp@saintbarnabas.org for more information.

AGES

Camp is open to children ages 3 through 10 (entering grade 5), with opportunities for Junior and Senior Counselors. Campers are divided into three developmentally appropriate age groups for activities:

Wee Ones (ages 3-4)
Sprouts (entering K and grade 1)
Creators (entering grades 2-5)
Junior Counselors (entering grades 6-8) participate as role models and assistants
Senior Counselors (entering grades 9-12) serve as assistants to our instructors and help out with all the other aspects of camp
