Home to Arizona's largest gold strike, Vulture City Ghost Town offers unique and exciting historical tours for classrooms and groups of all ages. Discovered in 1863 by Henry Wickenburg, this rare historic site now has 17 fully restored and curated 19th-century buildings open for field trip tours 7 days a week. Guided tours include a hands-on experience where visitors learn about the gold mining process. Groups of all sizes welcome, and all tours are handicap accessible.
