Beginning Fencing Class
This introductory class is designed for students ages 10 and up who are new to the sport of fencing. No prior experience is required just a willingness to learn and have fun!
Each session begins with warm ups to build strength, coordination, and agility, followed by structured footwork drills and bladework practice. Students will learn fundamental body mechanics and weapon movements, focusing on proper technique and control. As the class progresses, students will have the opportunity to fence with one another in a safe, supportive environment to apply the skills they’ve learned.
All fencing equipment is provided by Windy Hill Fencing Center, so there’s no need to purchase gear. Just come dressed in comfortable athletic wear and be ready to move!
This is the perfect way to explore the exciting world of fencing in a fun, beginner friendly setting.
