Join us in celebrating our community’s connection to nature! This fun and free community festival celebrates urban wildlife and nature. Come learn about the Salt River’s diverse ecosystem, volunteer to protect the habitat along the banks, and enjoy family-friendly outdoor activities designed for all ages. Community event starts at 9 a.m. Come early for a community river clean up from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. This event is staged along the Salt River, a culturally significant natural resource to the Valley and home to a variety of interesting wildlife. Last year, over 1,000 attendees participated, enjoying live wildlife encounters, art projects, guided walks, food, games, prizes and more!
