We offer ski lessons in the winter months for children, Ages 4-12 of all skill levels. Lessons are offered every weekend in a group or private setting, and all children 12 & younger are eligible for a free Power Kids season pass.

Arizona Worm Farm

$60 --includes a worm bin, complete with worms Learn from farm founder Zach Brooks on how to reduce waste in your home by vermicomposting and how you can use their castings for your home garden! Also get a tour of the farm and ask questions!

Grand Canyon Conservancy

Canyon Field School is a partnership between Grand Canyon Conservancy and the National Park Service that offers unique opportunities for youth to experience the great outdoors in the heights and depths of Grand Canyon National Park. The mission of Canyon Field School is to inspire stewardship of natural spaces. Students explore the worlds of science, technology, engineering, art, math, culture, and history with Grand Canyon as their classroom! These affordable, fun, and educational programs teach through canyon immersion, behind-the-scenes experiences, field investigations, group projects, hikes, and other inquiry-based learning activities.

Veterans Oasis Park and Environmental Education Center

Programs offered for residents and visitors cover topics such as birdwatching, green living, gardening, water conservation, nature photography, orienteering, alternative energy and stargazing. Entrance to the Environmental Education Center is free and visitors are welcome to view the exhibits and walk the trails around the urban fishing lake.
