Lighthouse Writers Workshop
Lighthouse offers a wide array of full and half-day summer camps from June through August for young writers ages eight to 18. Whether they've got a few novels under their belt, are new but curious about poems, or are a reluctant writer, our camps offer a fun, creative, and challenging way for young people to explore and express who they are, build new friendships, and create truly beautiful works of art.

Travel around the world in five days of art camp! Join Laurie, a certified K-12 art teacher, for a week long art camp making memories and masterpieces this summer! Children will explore a variety of art mediums creating projects such as clay sculptures, painting on canvas, paint your own pottery, drawing, and more related our weekly themes.
Tween Pottery Wheel 7/7-7/11
Sunshine Sunflower Studio
Learn wheel throwing techniques, such as how to center clay and form basic shapes to create your in this weeklong class. Each day we will cover a different form ( 1: cups, 2: mugs, 3: bowls, 4: plates and then on day 5 we will be glazing and practice on whichever form you need the most help with. We will also learn trimming and finishing of pottery pieces. Most participants can expect to make more than one of each form per class.
