2021 Animal Ed-Ventures Summer Camps - With Arizona Humane Society

We will be following CDC guidelines. To ensure safety, all visitors entering AHS property, including buildings and parking lots, are required to wear masks at all times without exception. Instructors will also be temperature tested prior to the start of the program, and all visitors entering an AHS building (including campers) will be subject to a temperature screening. To protect the health of your family and our staff, we will maintain social distancing during the program.
Animal Ed-Ventures
Ages 6-8 & 9-12
During this exciting, week-long ed-venture, campers will discover how they can make a difference in the lives of animals as we encounter a variety of animal ambassadors, fun interactive games and activities, and put our compassion into action through enrichment projects that benefit our homeless pets. Your camper will broaden their understanding of issues facing animals in our community, and learn what they can do to be a voice for all animals. Buckle up, because these animal ed-ventures are about to take off!

Junior EAMT Academy
Ages 10-13
Let your child explore the world of AHS’ animal rescuers! Designed for kids who are interested in working as an animal first responder, students will practice field medicine techniques, learn how to use rescue equipment and interact with real-life Emergency Animal Medical Technicians (EAMTs™). During this hands-on learning experience, Junior EAMTs will follow a mock cruelty investigation, from dispatch to the court room trial. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind summer camp!

Victory Vets
Ages 13-17
This fun, career-discovery program for teenage animal enthusiasts focuses on employment options within the veterinary field. Students will view live surgeries in our veterinary clinic and dissect organs to study animal anatomy and physiology. Additionally, students will learn first aid and triage medicine with AHS’ Emergency Animal Medical Technicians.

Wild Wonders
Ages 6-9 & 9-12
Alligators, snakes and tortoises, oh my! Through compassion, preservation and conservation, we will save wildlife together! Be a part of our most hands-on camp that encompasses the importance of wild and domestic animal sanctuaries and rehabilitators. Campers will see the dedication and time that is put into saving these precious lives by interacting and learning about wildlife in this collaborative camp. Join the Arizona Humane Society, Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary and more, as we learn to preserve, coexist and keep our pets safe around our wild neighbors.
