The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is a one-week (7 days, 6 nights) experience for teens ages 15 to 17. This long-running program allows counselors to participate in personal development activities and discussions to give them skills in communication, leadership, greater good, positivity, and inclusion. With these skills, they will be ready to be strong leaders both at camp and in their day-to-day lives.

The Teen Week program is a one-week (7 days, 6 nights) experience for teens ages 13 to 14. During Teen Week, teens participate in various fun, traditional camp activities, including horseback riding, archery, kayaking, and high ropes courses. Our Teen Week campers get a next-level camp experience, with special activities and programs. As part of the SJYC family, they’ll build friendships and memories while beginning to explore leadership and personal development topics.

Our traditional camper weeks are the heart of our SJYC programs. During their 7-day, 6-night stay, campers ages 6 to 12 will make the best of friends while participating in various fun, traditional camp activities, including horseback riding, archery, and kayaking. Campers continue to learn and grow, exploring STEAM topics, outdoor education, and social-emotional development.
