The Arizona Railway Museum in Chandler invites families and rail enthusiasts to explore Arizona’s rich railroad heritage through its impressive outdoor yard and recreated historic depot. Guests can climb aboard vintage locomotives, walk through classic passenger cars and cabooses, and discover fascinating railroad artifacts preserved by dedicated volunteers. Special experiences include birthday parties on real train cars, annual public events, and hands-on history, making it a unique destination for visitors of all ages. Closed in the summer. We are a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration of railroad equipment and artifacts from Arizona and the Southwest.
We have over 30 pieces of equipment on display, including:
