This summer, give your kid the chance to explore, make friends, and play.
With options for ages 6 through high school, you are sure to find a program your kids will enjoy. Day Camps run Monday through Friday and begin and end at CFI headquarters in Moab. Overnight camps also begin and end at CFI headquarters, and include food, camping, and river gear needed throughout the camp.
All camps and summer opportunities use hands-on nature based activities to promote connection to self, others, and the outdoors!
Session 1: Eco-Splorers
Eco-splorers is a summer day camp designed to introduce your kids to the wonders of the outside world. The camp visits a different location each day, spending time learning, exploring, and experiencing various sites around the Moab area.
Session 2: Desert Dwellers
Desert Dwellers is a summer day camp designed to unravel some of the mysteries of the Moab desert. Your kid will develop communication skills through teambuilding games, and spend time moving about outside, while immersing themselves in the ancient past and intriguing present of Moab.
Explorer Base Camp is an overnight experience for rising 5th through 8th graders. In the heat of the summer, we will retreat to Warner Lake campground up in the La Sal National Forest. Campers will spend their days hiking, fishing, learning camp crafts and skills, and developing new friendships in an unplugged environment.
This is a whitewater rafting summer camp for middle schoolers. The Youth River Skills Camp is designed to inspire the next generation of river runners! This program is for rising 7th through 9th graders interested in learning whitewater rafting skills, developing their communication and teamwork skills, and connecting with other kids their age in a fun camp setting.
Whitewater Academy, is an immersive 4 day, 3 night whitewater rafting trip for teens wanting to learn leadership and whitewater skills. Teens spend four days learning to paddle captain and row an oar boat through Ruby/Horsethief and Westwater Canyons, some of the country’s most thrilling whitewater.
NTGIT is a Native-Centered teen program for rising 8th-12th graders. Indigenous teens come together for an 8 day expedition to explore, connect to nature, develop community, and learn about guiding and natural resource career opportunities.
