Phoenix Public Library is a system of 17 libraries and is a department of the City of Phoenix.
Located in Cesar Chavez Park, the library's floorplan, narrowing at its center like an hourglass, allows customers to find the central service desk easily. The curves of the building are a direct response to the powerful geometry of the nearby lake. The wing-like roof is a reminder of the historical importance of the flowering fields in nearby Laveen. A multi-purpose room seats 67.
