Guided Bird Walks at the Arboretum

Arboretum guided bird walks are an ideal way to get into birding and to sharpen your skills – beginners are welcome. Guides will search for Violet-green Swallow, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Yellow Warbler and other colorful species around the main trail.

Arboretum guided bird walks are an ideal way to get into birding and to sharpen your skills – beginners are welcome. No binoculars - - no problem! Ask in our gift shop when you pay admission – loaner binoculars are available. What colorful birds are likely during Summer months? Note early Summer start time. Read the latest BTA bird sightings at: http://ebird.org/ebird/hotspot/L166979.  Look for dazzling hummingbirds to rollicking woodpeckers and chats with Rick Wright on August 6 and 8.  Az Game and Fish’s Chrissy Kondrat-Smith guides the tour August 18.
