May Create Playdate at the Phoenix Art Museum

Featuring our mobile, in-gallery art cart, Create Playdate offers young artists a hands-on maker experience during their visit. Participation is always free with general admission and open to all.
Inspired by the annual migration of monarch butterflies from Canada to Mexico, Carlos Amorales conceived Black Cloud as a “swarm” of moths that take over museum spaces, rising to envelop the viewer. Visitors will create their own black paper moth and butterfly covered artwork.
