Ages for which our activities are most appropriate:
The Opportunity Tree is one of Arizona's most deeply rooted and storied 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. For over 60 years, we have been providing quality individualized support to people with intellectual & developmental disabilities in dynamic & innovative environments. Our services are offered across four campuses in Phoenix, Maricopa, Avondale, and Casa Grande. One of our programs, the Tree Fort DTT Youth Program, serves teens and young adults aged 14-22 with developmental disabilities. This program is tailored for students who are still in school but nearing the transition to post-school life. Tree Fort DTT helps these individuals develop clear pathways for their future by providing a vocational curriculum that explores potential career opportunities. Participants engage in activities that enhance social skills, support personal growth, and work towards their individual goals, preparing them for the next phase of their lives with confidence and clarity.
