Phoenix Gymnastics and Dance Academy

Gymnastics and Dance is the basis of all Sport. A child's physical and mental development will be enhanced through gymnastics and dance activities. Because ALL children are different, our program has many different levels and methods of teaching, encouraging children from beginners to National level competitors. Over the past 28 years, Phoenix Gymnastics & Dance Academy is proud to have given thousands of children the opportunity to learn gymnastics and dance in a fun and safe environment. Mike & Donna Payne, Owners Mike is a former NCAA gymnast from the Mid West. After finishing his competitive career, Mike became General Manager and Head Coach of M.A.T.S gymnastics. In the early 80’s Mike moved to Phoenix and soon after started Phoenix Gymnastics & Dance Academy. Under Mike and Donna’s direction, Phoenix Gymnastics & Dance Academy has become known for developing some of the best gymnasts in Arizona. Over the years, Donna has served as the State Director for USA Gymnastics in Arizona. She has also been a member of the State Executive Committee and a board member of Arizona Women’s Gymnastics Judges Association. Donna is currently an Elite level Judge and has had the honor to judge the Junior Olympic National Championships and NCAA National Championship. The staff at Phoenix Gymnastics & Dance Academy is a group of dedicated, highly knowledgeable professionals who know how to help children build confidence in their ability. The PGA staff has been recognized for their outstanding achievements by the Arizona Women’s Gymnastics Community.
