Every year 322,000 Arizona adults & children are recipients of our 26 Social Services, Youth Development, and Healthy Living Programs
The Scottsdale/Paradise Valley Family YMCA opened in 1987. It opened its doors to the community providing a fitness center, free weight, locker rooms, a pool, full sized basketball gym, racquetball courts, teen center, and two licensed childcare centers (age 3-12). It has group fitness classes for all ages; sports, swimming lessons, and a USA competitive swim team. In 2015 the Scottsdale branch along with 8 other branches was awarded with a grant by APS for STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities in their afterschool program. The Scottsdale/Paradise Valley Family YMCA is proud to be part of the Valley of the Sun YMCA and its community.
