Special Olympics Arizona's (SOAZ) goal is to empower the over 180,000 Arizonans with intellectual disabilities to be healthy, productive and respected members of society through SOAZ's year-round sports training, competitions and support programs.
We are the PV Roadrunners Delegation of Special Olympics Arizona. We welcome all special athletes ages 8 & up with all abilities. Athletes can train and compete in swimming, bowling, soccer, basketball, flag football, and/or track & field. We are also happy to be partnering with North Valley Unified and Cave Creek Unified. Because of these partnerships, we are now able to offer golf. Whether you are looking for some physical activity or social interaction, we welcome you to come check us out.
Each sport is for all special athletes from 8 and up and all skill levels. There are 8-10 weeks of practice followed by a tournament. Different sports are offered throughout the school year.
