Summer nights come alive when you Walk on the Wild Side at Boyce Thompson Arboretum. Discover the unique sights, sounds, and smells of Sonoran Desert nocturnal life as your flashlight beams along the trails. Learn from local partners with live animal encounters and educational activities. Keep cool with a treat from Kona Ice, available for purchase. Find your way around the star-studded summer night sky with the help of experts from ASU’s School of Earth and Space Exploration. Don't miss out on the chance to learn the adaptations owls have to find their own way around when the skies go dark. Pre-registration is required, register here.
Please wear closed toe shoes and bring a flashlight for each person in your party.
Girl Scouts will receive a special glow in the dark patch for their participation.
