FAQ's
Q: When is Wild Wonderland? A: Wild Wonderland runs every Friday, Saturday, & Sunday in December until December 19, then every evening through December 31. Closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas.
Q: What are the hours for Wild Wonderland? A: Front gates open at 5:00 p.m. Event runs 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Front gates close at 7:30 p.m. Park closes at 8 p.m.
Q: Is the drive through open for Wild Wonderland? A: No the drive through portion of Bearizona is closed during Wild Wonderland. The event takes place in the Fort Bearizona walk through area only.
Q: Will I be able to see any animals? A: The drive through portion of Bearizona closes promptly at 4:00 p.m. Animal viewing is limited at this event, as many of our animals have access to warmed den areas. Wild Wonderland is an evening, holiday event that does not offer the same viewing opportunities as a daytime visit.
Q: Can I walk around the entire park during Wild Wonderland? A: No. Certain areas of the park are closed for this event. For your safety, we ask that you remain on lighted, designated paths at all times.
Q: Is food available for purchase? A: Yes. The snack bar will be open and serving specialty holiday items in addition to Christmas themed beverages. You can also purchase food/drinks in the foyer of the Gift Shop.
Q: What happens if it snows? A: Wild Wonderland remains open during most snow storms. Bearizona crews work tirelessly to keep up with the snow so you can enjoy the event. In extreme cases of ice certain areas of the walk through will be roped off for safety. Plan to dress appropriately for cold weather. The park does not issue refunds or rain-checks.
Q: Can I bring my flashlight? A: No. Flashlights and laser pointers are not allowed for the safety of our animals and for the courtesy of other guests.
