Lei Day: Family Day at the Heard
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 04/30/2023
Join us at the Heard Museum on Sunday, April 30, for a day of activities designed with keiki (children) in mind. Author and artist, Shar Tuiasoa, will be on-site doing readings and signings of her book, Punky Aloha, and helping visitors with a paint-by-number mural designed especially for the day. Guests will have the opportunity to see and learn hula, play Hawaiian games, make their own paper or real flower lei, learn ʻŌlelo Hawai’i (Hawaiian), participate in guided family tours of He’e Nalu: The Art and Legacy of Hawaiian Surfing and more! Bring your ohana (family) for a memorable and exciting day at the Heard Museum!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
